Wallpaper in Villa: the art of wallpaper meets history at Villa Litta in Lainate

From 11 to 13 April 2025, the historic Villa Visconti Borromeo Litta in Lainate hosted Wallpaper in Villa , a one-of-a-kind event that combined contemporary design and historical heritage. Organized by Ambientha on the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2025, the exhibition transformed the rooms of the villa into an immersive experience, presenting the new SINERGIE 2025 wallpaper collection.


The union between art and architecture

Villa Visconti Borromeo Litta in Lainate , a 16th-century architectural jewel, offered an ideal setting for the exhibition. Its 17th-century rooms and scenic gardens interacted harmoniously with the artistic wallpapers, creating a path that enhanced the beauty of the place and the contemporary works on display. The SINERGIE 2025 collection

Ambientha's SINERGIE 2025 collection was the heart of the event. The wallpapers designed by contemporary design talents Cristina Cati with Modoro , Gabriele Salimbeni, Lorena Nicolosi, Nunzia Ponsillo, Paolo Metaldi, Pietro Petrillo with Keep Life, Silvia Pasta, Simona Sabatelli and Vittoria Ostini, are the result of careful aesthetic and material research, a symbol of every Ambientha collection, they have reinterpreted natural and architectural elements, offering decorative solutions that combine tradition and innovation with a dreamlike look.

An experience outside the conventional circuits

Wallpaper in Villa chose to go beyond the traditional Fuorisalone circuits, offering a cultural and artistic experience in a historical context of great value. Visitors were able to appreciate the installations in a quiet and suggestive environment, far from the frenzy of the city.

Villa Litta in Lainate is not only an event location, but a place rich in history and art. Its famous Nymphaeum, with water features unique in Europe, and its Italian gardens represent a cultural heritage of inestimable value, which deserves to be known and enhanced.
